After the brilliant classical tour ICONIC 2023/24, the Violin virtuoso revisits the crossover chapter ALIVE: gripping songs that celebrate life, ultimate crossover music that fuses virtuoso classical with the finest pop, and melodies with goosebumps.
On ALIVE, deeply moving pieces like “What a Wonderful World,” “Imagine” and “Beauty and the Beast” alternate with fast-paced songs like Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black” and Pharrell Williams’ infectious hit “ Happy.” The crossover star encourages people to dance with feel-good songs like “Hit the Road Jack,” “Thriller,” “Bella Ciao” and the eponymous “Stayin' Alive.” But of course classical music isn't neglected either: in his innovative reinterpretations, DAVID GARRETT transforms Mozart's "Confutatis", Prokofiev's "Dance of the Knights" and Beethoven's 7th Symphony into virtuoso rock classics.
